SelfPlus has launched a WordPress migration service that converts existing websites into static sites while preserving their current design. Introduced on September 9, 2026, the service also provides clients with their GitHub repository, handover documents and an update manual, allowing them to manage future changes in-house with Claude Code.
The service addresses a common barrier to leaving WordPress. Businesses may want to reduce maintenance and security work but remain concerned about managing their websites after migration. With the new setup, users can give update instructions in Japanese and have Claude Code prepare changes for review before publishing.

The migration also removes the need for regular WordPress core, plugin, PHP and database updates. Website changes are tracked through GitHub and can be restored when needed. The service starts at ¥100,000 plus ¥5,000 per page, excluding tax, with additional costs for more complex WordPress features.
