Flight Solutions Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that it will begin market development using the “SP-NET” payment network provided by MUFG Bank in collaboration with MUFG Bank, Ltd.
In recent years, as labor shortages have become more serious, especially in the food and beverage industry, digital transformation has become more active with the aim of improving operational efficiency and reducing labor costs. In particular, the introduction of cashless payment has become one of the criteria customers use when choosing a store to use, and its popularity is accelerating in terms of attracting customers. Demand for Flight’s “Tapion Tablet” is also expected to increase in the future as a labor-saving solution that allows customers to operate a touch panel to complete everything from ordering to paying in one stop.
However, for businesses with small average customer spend, the fees associated with cashless payments are a high barrier to adoption, making it difficult to move forward with the service. To address this issue, Flight will connect Mitsubishi UFJ Bank’s payment network “SP-NET” with Flight’s solution to provide a payment service with reduced operational costs for payment processing.

Mitsubishi UFJ Bank’s “SP-NET” is based on the concept of “Simple Payment” and has significantly reduced the cost of payment processing by specializing in necessary functions. Especially in the small amount market, complex processing (revolving payment, installment payment, point card linkage, etc.) is not necessary, so by utilizing “SP-NET”, credit card payment can be realized even in the small amount market such as beverage vending machines. By combining this “SP-NET” with Flight’s solution, we will maximize the introduction effect for businesses and promote market expansion to small amount payment businesses. In addition, we are currently starting to operate this payment system in the cafeterias of major companies one after another, and are steadily building a track record of social implementation.
Through its collaboration with Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, Flight will continue to strengthen its support for businesses so that they are not left behind in the accelerating IT society, and aim to realize a fair and healthy cashless society.
