DCP Co., Ltd. and Pacific Meta Co., Ltd. have entered into a partnership to support the commercialization of tokenized deposits.
This collaboration will combine DCP’s tokenized deposit platform, network with financial institutions, and expertise in financial practices and regulatory compliance with Pacific Meta Group’s support capabilities in the blockchain domain, from business strategy to development and implementation, as well as its network of blockchain engineers and businesses. This will create a collaborative system that supports everything from issuance by financial institutions to utilization by businesses.
In recent years, efforts toward realizing “on-chain finance,” which involves the transfer of value, settlement, and financial transactions on the blockchain, have been gaining momentum both domestically and internationally. Among these, tokenized deposits, along with stablecoins, are attracting attention as a foundation for new payment and financial services that financial institutions can provide on the blockchain. The “Financial Administration Policy for Fiscal Year 2026,” published by the Financial Services Agency on September 15, 2026, also explicitly states the social implementation of on-chain finance and the advancement of financial infrastructure such as fund and securities settlement.

While there is policy support for this, the widespread adoption of tokenized deposits requires not only the development of an underlying issuance infrastructure, but also the creation of concrete use cases that meet diverse needs, such as payments, fund transfers, commercial transactions, and digital asset integration, and the expansion of their scope of application. To address these challenges, the two companies have come to build a collaborative system that combines their respective expertise and networks.
