Japanese used car retailer IDOM has announced its ‘Gulliver AX Declaration,’ outlining plans to use AI agents and data analytics to improve customer experience by 2030. The company will implement Salesforce Agentforce at all customer touchpoints and Databricks as the central data and AI platform.
AI agents will be used for assisting sales negotiations, providing round-the-clock responses to web-based enquiries and assisting customers in choosing vehicles. The use of AI will assist with the selection of inventory, auction sourcing, pricing automation and post purchase services such as maintenance and trade-ins.
