Rail Co., Ltd. will implement an AI profiling function based on individual result data in its talent assessment service “Marco Polo,” which it provides to small and medium-sized enterprises, and will begin offering the service from July 2026.
“Marco Polo” is a service that supports decision-making in areas such as recruitment, placement, and training by accurately measuring an individual’s personality traits, visualizing what kinds of behaviors are likely to occur and to what extent, and modeling the talent requirements sought by companies. Based on the compatibility between the two, it predicts the potential for success and the likelihood of problematic behaviors.
The AI functionality being implemented will first analyze the test taker’s results data from multiple perspectives to understand their characteristic structure and tendency towards certain behaviors, and then provide this information as easily understandable and organized profiling data. This will make interpretations that previously required specialized knowledge more practical and usable by the individual, their supervisor, and HR personnel.
