JMA Systems Corporation (JMAS) has announced the integration of its B2B ordering system, Sekai Cart, with KG ZAICO, a cloud-based inventory management system provided by Kanematsu Corporation. The integration is designed to connect processes ranging from web-based order management and inventory control to shipment and receiving operations and purchasing management.
The collaboration targets manufacturing and wholesale businesses that face increasingly complex requirements around order processing and inventory management. Kanematsu will provide sales, implementation, and operational support for the combined solution.
Businesses handling products such as food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and construction materials often need to manage customer-specific pricing, quotations, product lots, and expiration dates. At the same time, shipments from multiple locations and inventory transfers can lead to delays in updating stock information or duplicate data entry. These issues can create discrepancies between actual and system-recorded inventory, increasing the risk of stockouts, delivery delays, and missed orders.
Under the new integration, confirmed orders from Sekai Cart will be automatically transferred to KG ZAICO through an API. Inventory allocation, receiving and shipping processes, and inventory management can then be handled through KG ZAICO, with updated inventory information reflected back in Sekai Cart in real time.
The integration also supports centralized management of lot numbers and expiration dates, helping businesses implement first-in, first-out inventory operations and quickly identify relevant lots when quality issues or recalls occur. Alerts and email notifications can be used to identify inventory approaching its expiration date.
Another feature is the management of inventory allocation and shipping after an order is confirmed. Orders received through channels such as telephone and fax, in addition to EC websites, can also be incorporated into the allocation and shipping workflow managed through KG ZAICO.
The systems also support inventory replenishment through reorder-point alerts. When stock falls below a predefined threshold, notifications can alert personnel, helping reduce the risk of missed purchases and stockouts. Sekai Cart can use the latest inventory information to control displayed stock and the quantity available for ordering.
For businesses operating multiple warehouses or locations, inventory information managed through KG ZAICO can be synchronized with Sekai Cart in real time. On-site inventory movements, receiving, and shipping can be recorded using QR and barcode scanning on smartphones, with updates immediately reflected in the orderable quantity shown through Sekai Cart.

The integration is aimed particularly at food and beverage manufacturers and wholesalers, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and chemical businesses requiring strict lot and expiration tracking, and construction and building-material wholesalers that require location-based inventory management and records of receiving and shipping operations.
Sekai Cart is JMAS’s cloud-based B2B EC service designed to digitize and automate business-to-business ordering processes traditionally handled through telephone, fax, and email. KG ZAICO, meanwhile, is Kanematsu’s cloud inventory management software based on ZAICO’s inventory management system, providing inventory receipt, shipment, stocktaking, and inventory-sharing capabilities across smartphones, tablets, and PCs.
The companies said the integration is intended to connect ordering, inventory, logistics, and purchasing processes while improving the accuracy and efficiency of inventory and order management operations.
