Kuuzen has brought in a total of ¥1.63 billion through its Series B funding round, which also takes its overall funding to ¥2.88 billion. The company says it will use this money to ramp up AI capabilities in its KUZEN customer engagement platform, and also to push multi-channel support further, speed up overseas expansion, plus look into M&A opportunities.
KUZEN is basically there to help businesses gather and put to use first-party customer data across channels like LINE email and SMS, so teams can send communication that feels more tailored, and a bit more human. The company also notes that the platform is already used by over 700 organizations.

With privacy regulations continuing to tighten the space around third-party data, businesses seem to be leaning more and more toward first-party data and AI-powered personalization. That shift, the company implies, is why unified customer engagement platforms are becoming a higher priority.
