Kaminashi Corporation has entered into a partnership agreement with Shippo Shoji Corporation to provide the “Kaminashi Report” to support on-site digital transformation efforts of businesses, mainly in the Hokuriku region.
Shippo Shoji is a company that sells and maintains products and system equipment of Ishida Group, a leading weighing equipment company, mainly in the Hokuriku region, including Ishikawa, Toyama, and Fukui. They have particular strengths in the food distribution industry, including food factories and supermarkets, and are developing support services for on-site efficiency and labor saving.
The Hokuriku region’s industries have developed mainly around manufacturing, but in recent years, the region has been facing a serious labor shortage due to a declining birthrate, aging population, and population decline. In particular, the shortage of workers on the front lines is an issue due to the outflow of young people to urban areas. Furthermore, the sustained growth of local manufacturing is becoming difficult due to intensifying global competition and a lack of successors. Under these circumstances, it is essential to improve the efficiency of operations in order to maintain and improve high productivity with limited human resources.
