JDSC Co., Ltd. has partnered with DevRev Japan LLC to help companies adopt AI across business operations. Under the agreement, JDSC will resell DevRev’s enterprise AI platform, Computer, and provide implementation and usage support to businesses.
Before extending these services to clients, JDSC plans to deploy and test Computer internally as it prepares for a rapid increase in employee numbers. First we will concentrate on managing an internal question-and-answer platform, sourcing company data and automating mundane tasks. The company will then leverage this experience and their expertise in using AI, data and business process automation to make tangible use of AI in other organizations.

DevRev Computer connects information and workflows across existing business systems. It supports people to find appropriate information, process tasks, and complete requests, as well as use automation for routine activities within specified permission and approval ranges. Permission controls, manual checks and transaction logs will help provide a level of oversight, especially for requests related to sensitive parts of business.
Use cases are expected to include automating IT helpdesk responses (password resets, user provisioning, or collecting audit logs) and sharing information across communication tools.
As its headcount increases, JDSC will monitor metrics such as response time, how often AI learns and worker productivity and efficiencies, as well as the additional costs of the platform and implementations. But the improvements in efficiency should not impact service quality or security.
