Progress Software Completes Domo AI Platform Acquisition

Progress Software has completed its acquisition of a majority stake in Domo’s AI and data platform assets, along with certain associated liabilities. The deal brings Domo’s cloud-based platform into Progress’s existing data platform portfolio.

The acquisition strengthens Progress’s capabilities in connecting, managing and using enterprise data for AI applications. It also advances the increasing need for secure, scalable AI systems and AI agents that can operate on trusted business data.

Domo counts over 2,400 companies as customers and has partnerships with several large cloud data warehouse vendors. The move is another sign of how the industry is consolidating AI and enterprise data tools, which will enable companies to build AI products with more context about the data and greater data control.
