Kanaden has invested US$2 million in RSYNQ, a US-based physical AI company, as both businesses look to expand robotics technology in Japan. Their joint business activities are set to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
With RSYNQ’s Semantic Intent Protocol (SIP), disparate robot, sensors and industrial equipment from different vendors can work with each other. Currently, fusing disparate robots and machines can mean building custom software for each instance, costing extra time and money. SIP seeks to ease that burden by sharing AI commands from one device to another.

Kanaden will add its customer relationships with industrial clients to the venture, and RSYNQ will expand its technology and market presence in Japan. The two want to seek pilot and commercial projects in manufacturing, logistics, healthcare and other industries.
