Property Data Bank has expanded its facility management cloud platform, @cmms, with a new solution aimed at data center operators facing rising infrastructure complexity and costs. The system combines facility management software with BIM technology to create digital twins of critical assets such as cooling, air conditioning, and power systems.
This move shows up because AI workloads are pushing a fresh wave of data center build outs and upgrades, especially across Japan. When operators digitize maintenance records alongside equipment information in a 3D environment, they can boost fault detection, make maintenance tasks run smoother, and get a crisper view into how the facility is performing.

The platform also sifts through equipment history and failure risk signals to suggest the best repair and replacement cycles, so operators can manage life cycle costs, even while data center spending keeps rising.
