Edion Co., Ltd. and Preferred Networks, Inc. will begin a proof-of-concept experiment of AI store navigation utilizing “MiseMise”, a next-generation store platform provided by PFN, at Edion JR Amagasaki Station Store, starting May 26, 2026.
Customers can search for products using natural language and photos on their smartphones and view their locations on an in-store map. Furthermore, they can experience a feature that clearly displays the differences between products simply by taking a picture of the price tags on the shelves. By combining cutting-edge AI technology with attentive customer service, we deliver a more convenient shopping experience than ever before.
Electronics retailers display tens of thousands of products, and we often hear from customers that they want to “quickly find the product they’re looking for from our wide selection” and “learn more about the differences between products to find the one that suits them best.”
