Final Aim has raised pre series A funding from Yugo Nakajima, COO of WHOM Inc., marking a follow on investment after its seed round. The move strengthens the company’s push to scale responsibly in a market where generative AI adoption is accelerating but concerns around intellectual property remain unresolved.
The capital will support Final Aim’s efforts to balance AI driven productivity with IP protection. The main issue for businesses now stems from their need to implement generative AI technology into their primary operational processes while they deal with increasing demands for data ownership rights and compliance requirements.
Nakajima brings operational depth in HR and recruitment. He has led business units at multiple startups, served as a venture partner in deep tech, and later helped build and scale RPO services at WHOM before its M&A with a listed company. His cross functional experience across HR, marketing, sales, and business planning is expected to support Final Aim’s next growth phase.

The investment signals more than capital. It reflects confidence in AI infrastructure that is not just powerful, but governed. As enterprises demand guardrails around AI deployment, startups that solve for both innovation and risk management are likely to define the next wave.
