Okta Japan has launched a new program called the Auth0 Heroes Program. It is aimed at developers in Japan who actively use Auth0 and talk about it through their work and community activity. The focus is on recognition and support, not marketing. Okta Japan says the idea is to strengthen the local developer community and make it easier for people to share what they have learned from real projects, not just theory.
Auth0 is used to handle identity and authentication, areas that often slow teams down or add risk if done poorly. Auth0 is meant to simplify those processes so developers can spend more time building products that are secure and usable. Through this program, Okta Japan wants to stay close to developers who already understand the platform deeply and use it in production. These developers are expected to become visible voices in the community and help others understand how Auth0 works in real environments.
To be certified, developers need to show strong technical knowledge and active involvement. This includes writing blogs, sharing insights on social media, speaking at conferences, or contributing to community events. Developers selected as Auth0 Heroes receive official recognition, digital badges, and chances to speak at events organized or supported by Okta. They also get direct access to Auth0 product teams through feedback sessions and roundtables.

As of January 2026, eleven developers have been certified. The group includes CTOs, architects, engineering managers, and hands on developers. The first official Auth0 Heroes meetup is scheduled for January 28, 2026, marking the start of more organized, community led activity in Japan.
