Splashtop Inc., provider of the remote access solution “Splashtop,” will begin gradually rolling out the new generation series of Splashtop in Japan starting in August. The new generation series includes enhanced Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM) functionality, as well as expanded security and management features. The licensing system has also been revamped, allowing users to flexibly combine multiple features under a single account, and adding options is seamless and intuitive.
Teleworking and hybrid work have become established as sustainable ways of working for companies, and remote access has become an essential foundation for corporate activities. However, cyber attacks targeting VPNs and remote desktops are becoming more serious, making it urgent to balance flexible working styles with advanced security.
To address this issue, Splashtop has been gradually rolling out the features of its new generation series in the United States since October 2024, developing solutions that balance security and system operability. The company will now begin offering this series in Japan.

About the New Generation Series
The new generation series is an integrated remote work support platform that allows seamless centralized management of physical devices such as PCs and smartphones and virtual environments. Full-scale provision to customers will begin in August, and sales will be gradually expanded through distributors in collaboration with partner companies.
Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM) enhancements
Enhancements to AEM, available as add-on features, now enable automatic vulnerability scanning and real-time patch application. This allows IT personnel to centrally monitor the status of devices, allowing them to operate and manage their systems while maintaining a high level of security. It also contributes to preventive maintenance and stable system operation by detecting signs of problems early and allowing them to address issues before they become apparent.
Flexible licensing system
The new licensing system allows you to freely combine the features you need on an account-by-account basis. For example, you can add remote support functionality to remote access, or add-on features such as AEM or Secure Internet Access later, allowing you to use services in a scalable manner in line with your business growth. There is no need for capital investment, and you can introduce only the features you need, allowing you to use the service efficiently and without waste.
