Verizon Business Group has entered into a strategic alliance with Accenture to accelerate the development and delivery of advanced cybersecurity solutions to address the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape. The alliance is aimed at helping businesses of all sizes, from small and medium-sized enterprises to large enterprises, mitigate a wide range of ever-growing threats, from data breaches to phishing attacks, social engineering and more.
Combining the cybersecurity and network strengths of both companies, the alliance will initially focus on key growth areas such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), Managed Extended Detection and Response (MxDR) and cyber risk services, leveraging each company’s cybersecurity expertise to deploy select security solutions across both Verizon’s global network assets and Accenture’s broader portfolio. Following this initial phase, the alliance will focus on the joint development of new solutions.
