SMS Co., Ltd. has entered into a strategic partnership with ENBASE Co., Ltd. to integrate Kaipoke, SMS’s cloud service for nursing-care and disability-welfare providers, with StandLM, ENBASE’s AI assistant that automatically creates work records from conversations during care.
Through the partnership, providers using Kaipoke will be able to transfer records created by StandLM to Kaipoke with a single tap. The service will initially be available to home-visit nursing stations, with plans to expand to home-visit care providers, in-home care management offices, and welfare equipment rental providers.
The collaboration addresses growing demand for home-based medical and nursing care, while staffing remains a challenge. In home-visit nursing, staff must prepare various documents in addition to daily nursing records, including care plans, reports, nursing summaries, and conference minutes. Recording information while providing care can also add to the workload.
StandLM analyzes conversations during care and automatically creates records according to the formats used by different service types. The system supports home-visit nursing, home-visit care, care managers, and welfare equipment specialists, and can be adjusted to reflect the record-writing practices of individual providers.
The two companies have previously conducted trials of AI use in home-visit nursing settings. Based on the results and the potential to reduce the burden associated with record creation, they decided to establish a strategic partnership. The agreement is intended to strengthen functional integration between the two services and provide information about their use, while also reducing the time providers need to spend evaluating and selecting technology.
For home-visit nursing, the newly available integration allows staff to record conversations during care using the StandLM application. AI then creates a Nursing Record II (observation record). After reviewing the generated content, users can send it to Kaipoke with one tap. Only records that have been reviewed before submission are transferred to Kaipoke.
A home-visit nursing station that participated in the initial implementation, cuddle, reported that integrating StandLM with Kaipoke reduced the time required to prepare daily records, reports, and care plans by 50%. The companies note that this result is not guaranteed for all providers.
StandLM also supports the automatic creation of other daily records based on conversations during visits. These include service-provider meeting minutes, monitoring records, service-delivery records, and support-progress records. For home-visit nursing, the system supports formats including SOAP, summaries, chronological records, and Focus Charting, as well as minutes for pre-discharge and internal conferences and reports for doctors and other professionals.
The accumulated records can also be used to prepare additional documents. For example, the system can support the creation and revision of home-visit nursing care plans, home-visit nursing reports, and nursing summaries submitted to hospitals when patients are admitted. It can also automatically suggest information relevant to requirements for additional fees in home-visit care based on instructions and reports from service managers.
By reducing the time spent on documentation, the companies expect the technology to help home-care providers devote more time to interacting with users and providing care.
As of September 2026, Kaipoke users applying through SMS can also access a campaign offering one month of StandLM free of charge. StandLM requires a separate contract with ENBASE.

The partnership will initially focus on strengthening the integration between StandLM and Kaipoke for home-visit nursing. The companies plan to expand the one-tap integration to other service categories, including in-home care management, while using feedback from participating providers to identify additional operational challenges and strengthen support for efficiency across home-care services.
Kaipoke is a subscription-based cloud service that provides more than 40 functions covering areas such as insurance claims, operations, recruitment, purchasing, finance, back-office operations, and M&A. As of July 1, 2026, the service had 62,300 member businesses nationwide.
ENBASE launched StandLM in June 2025, providing AI-based assistance for automatically creating work records from conversations during care. SMS operates Kaipoke as part of its broader mission to build information infrastructure for an aging society.
