Hitachi will introduce its Recycled Materials Marketplace on October 1 2026. This platform will be a place where companies can find, check, trade and work on developing recycled materials like recycled plastics. The project is being created by Hitachi and Hitachi High-Tech. MUFG Bank is offering help with money for the suppliers who take part.
The platform helps solve a problem when it comes to using more recycled materials. Buyers often have trouble finding materials that work well and are of quality. Suppliers also have a time finding the right customers. The marketplace lets buyers look for materials by using information about their properties. It also helps suppliers connect with possible customers.
Hitachi will also offer testing and analysis of materials through Hitachi High-Tech. The platform uses AI and materials informatics to suggest ways to mix recycled materials, new materials and additives. These suggestions are based on what the materials need to do.

The money part is also important. MUFG Bank will offer money for the bills that come from transactions on the marketplace. This will help suppliers have money flow.
The launch shows how important circular supply chains are becoming. Companies are dealing with resources trying to reduce carbon facing political issues and following more rules, about using resources again.
