Solid Camera Co., Ltd., a distributor of IP cameras, has announced ” Solid AI Alert , ” an AI-powered detection and notification service, as a new service under its network camera brand “Solid Camera,” and will begin accepting applications from July 16, 2026.
This service is a cloud service that uses AI to analyze images captured by compatible network cameras and, when it detects a specified object, sends a real-time notification via email or a dedicated app.
This system is compatible with all Viewla series models, allowing you to use the AI detection and notification function not only for new installations but also for existing Viewla series systems. Furthermore, because it utilizes the camera’s image transmission function for AI analysis, it minimizes the load on the communication line, which is another key feature.

Leveraging the network camera expertise cultivated through cumulative sales of 300,000 solid cameras*, we have developed a service that makes AI-powered image analysis more accessible. We envision its use in a wide range of applications, including wildlife countermeasures such as bears, which have been increasing in recent years, as well as remote area monitoring, equipment monitoring, and security measures.
Background of Development
In recent years, AI-powered image analysis technology has been increasingly utilized not only for security purposes but also in various fields such as equipment monitoring, facility management, and agriculture.
In recent years, in particular, there have been numerous sightings of bears and other wild animals across Japan, making measures to address crop damage and personal injury a major social issue. However, many of these locations are mountainous areas or farmlands with limited communication infrastructure, making the introduction of AI-powered remote monitoring systems challenging due to communication volume and operating costs.
Solid AI Alert is a service that addresses these challenges by providing AI-powered detection and notification while minimizing data traffic.
