Noahlogy Inc., which develops AI-related businesses specializing in the maritime industry, has signed an “AVEVA Partner Ecosystem Member Agreement” with AVEVA Software, LLC, a UK-based company that promotes DX and sustainability as a global leader in industrial software. Development and verification will proceed in collaboration with AVEVA, with the aim of commercializing shipbuilding design support utilizing 3D CAD data.
Going forward, we will verify, one by one, which types of data and verification items the AI can accurately assess, and work towards creating a system that can be seamlessly integrated into daily design work. In development, we will conduct repeated verifications in a manner that is tailored to the challenges faced on-site, such as in shipyards and design departments that handle large-scale and complex designs.

In shipbuilding design, in addition to drawings and specifications, it is necessary to check information such as the shape and attributes of 3D models and compare them with design requirements. The amount of information handled is vast and diverse, and the verification process requires a lot of time and specialized knowledge. Noahlogy is working on developing technology to streamline the verification process for designers by handling this design information with AI.
