GP Online, a company specializing in website planning and development, has appointed Nguyen Tuan Duc, founder and CEO of AI company Aimesoft Inc., as its AI Technology Advisor. The appointment is intended to strengthen collaboration between the two companies by combining GP Online’s expertise in communication design with Aimesoft’s AI technology.
GP Online has worked with Japanese companies on communication challenges for more than 25 years since its founding in 2000. Its work has focused on issues such as helping companies communicate their value to job seekers and customers through websites and digital content.
The growing use of generative AI, however, is changing how companies communicate with people. Customers and job seekers are increasingly using generative AI when researching companies and seeking information, creating communication challenges that cannot always be addressed through website development alone.
Against this backdrop, GP Online and Duc have been working together since 2021, before generative AI became widely adopted, on the joint development of a Japanese large language model (LLM) focused on corporate communications. The companies have continued to examine how AI can be applied to practical business operations.
The appointment as AI Technology Advisor builds on that relationship. GP Online plans to combine Duc’s technical expertise in AI with its own experience in planning and designing communication solutions to expand the ways it addresses corporate challenges.
Duc is the founder and CEO of Aimesoft. He has a doctorate from the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Information Science and Technology. In 2010 he received an Excellence Award at the Annual Conference of the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence. His main areas of expertise are AI, conversational AI and virtual humans. He also holds patents related to multimodal AI.
Aimesoft creates software and services that use multimodal AI. These systems combine information from voice, images and text. Their technologies include AI, virtual humans and facial recognition. GP Online on the hand has focused on designing digital communication, between people and organizations.
The companies see a common foundation in designing what should be communicated, in what order, and in what way depending on the recipient. Through the collaboration, they intend to combine this communication-design expertise with Duc’s AI knowledge.
Rather than treating AI adoption itself as the objective, GP Online said it will examine whether AI is genuinely effective for a particular customer challenge and how it can be applied in a way that delivers practical value.
The companies plan to focus initially on three areas. First, Duc will advise GP Online on improving its AI knowledge, technical capabilities, and ability to propose appropriate solutions for customer challenges. The company will conduct internal testing to establish a structure capable of considering AI alongside other potential approaches.
Second, GP Online plans to share knowledge about corporate AI applications. With Duc’s expertise and supervision, it will examine how AI can address corporate communication challenges and communicate those findings.
Third, the companies will explore longer-term collaboration between Aimesoft’s AI solutions and GP Online’s communication-design and digital-production capabilities. The companies will first conduct their own verification work and identify opportunities within customer projects, with specific services to be announced when preparations are complete.

GP Online President Yutaka Toyonaga said the company intends to build on more than 25 years of experience designing communication between companies and people. He emphasized that adopting AI itself does not solve a business problem and that determining what needs to be solved and how information should be communicated remains an important human role.
Duc similarly noted that AI can create greater value when combined with specific corporate challenges and communication requirements rather than being introduced independently. He said he will continue working with GP Online to help Japanese companies apply AI in practical business settings.
Aimesoft Inc. is an AI company providing multimodal AI software and services globally, with operations in Japan and Vietnam. GP Online was founded in 2000 and provides website and web-system production, web package development, and web marketing consulting services.
