BrainPad Inc. announced on the 10th that it has completed the application for registration of the establishment of “BrainPad AAA Inc.”, a wholly owned subsidiary specializing in the AI agent business. BrainPad has classified the characteristics of generative AI, which has been rapidly developing in recent years, into “assistant type (support type)” that learns certain information from humans and supports human decision-making, and “agent type (autonomous)” that enables autonomously to carry out complex tasks by considering the situation and conditions, and has been exploring new business opportunities.
In this context, BrainPad has selected “utilization of autonomous AI agents” as a new business opportunity that goes beyond the mere spread of generative AI technology and leads to direct and essential problem solving. In January, it was announced that it aimed to establish the company in March as a service development company that develops and provides autonomous AI agent services. This time, the application for registration of establishment has been completed, and the company name has become “BrainPad AAA Inc.” The capital is 100 million yen, and Tsuji Akiyuki, who served as head of the generative AI task force at BrainPad, has been appointed as the representative director.
The company’s main business activities include developing and providing AI agent services and consulting on the use of AI agents. Starting with the “BrainPad Annotation Agent” already announced by BrainPad, the company plans to gradually expand its services.
