Kirifuda Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has provided requirements definition consulting to Canal Payment Service Co., Ltd. regarding its stablecoin payment service.
CPS provides “PAYTREE,” a multi-code payment gateway service that supports over 50 types of code payments domestically and internationally and processes payments for over 1.89 million merchants. Based on the characteristics and operations of CPS’s existing services, Kirifuda assisted in clarifying the requirements for future stablecoin payment service considerations.
According to the “Cashless Payment Ratio in 2025” published by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in March 2026, the domestic cashless payment ratio reached 58.0%, with payment amounts reaching 162.7 trillion yen. QR code payments accounted for 16.6 trillion yen, making them a significant component of cashless payments.
