Yamashita PMC Co., Ltd. and Ricoh Co., Ltd. are pleased to announce that they have begun a collaboration between Yamashita PMC’s facility information management system “b-platform,” which centralizes the management of facility information and transforms it into intellectual property, and Ricoh’s “RICOH360” platform business. Through this collaboration, the two companies aim to improve efficiency and productivity in the field of building and facility information management using 360-degree images, and provide better customer service.
Yamashita PMC is a specialized project management (PM)/construction management (CM) company that solves all kinds of issues related to buildings and facilities. As Yamashita PMC develops its facility management support business, it has faced situations where it was unable to start smoothly because the client did not centrally manage various documents such as completion drawings and renovation drawings, renovation and construction history, and maintenance records, and it was forced to spend time and effort on the preliminary stages of the main work, such as unearthing and collecting various information.
To solve these issues, Yamashita PMC developed the facility information management system “b-platform”, which centrally manages information about facilities and turns it into intellectual property. Since its launch in April 2021, it has been adopted in various fields such as manufacturing, distribution, public facilities, and educational institutions, achieving efficiency in facility management and operation, reducing management costs and improving productivity.
