Money Forward, Inc. has launched a new AI-BPO service, “Money Forward Omakase Lease Contract Management” (beta version). “Money Forward Lease Contract Management” is an AI-BPO service that comprehensively handles lease contract management tasks.
This service allows users to complete lease contract management tasks simply by sending the details of the work and contract files via chat. It supports companies struggling with back-office personnel shortages by outsourcing tasks that tend to be complicated due to complex application guidelines and company-specific rules, from the initial design phase to the actual operation, including digitizing contracts and related documents, lease identification, contract ledger creation, and data creation for integration into various systems. Furthermore, by combining the strengths of AI, which excels at high-speed data processing, with checks and corrections by expert operators, a speedy and highly accurate contract management system can be built. This will initially be offered as a beta version to a limited number of users.

From fiscal years beginning on or after April 1, 2027, the new lease accounting standards will apply to listed companies, their subsidiaries and affiliates, and large companies under the Companies Act. These companies will, in principle, be required to record all lease transactions as assets and liabilities (on-balance sheet), which will create a practical burden of reviewing a vast number of contracts, determining lease status, and constructing new management ledgers.
Up until now, our company has provided AI agents and products that comply with the new lease accounting standards. However, we have found that a shortage of personnel is a fundamental challenge for many companies in areas such as contract inventory, data entry, and complex lease determination criteria. Against this backdrop, we are launching an AI-BPO service that allows for the comprehensive outsourcing of the entire lease contract management process through collaboration between AI and human operators.
Through this service, our company aims to help companies create an environment where they can be freed from the anxiety of labor shortages and focus on their core business.
