Taiwanese system integrator Soetek has ventured into the Japanese market via a local subsidiary, SNC System Integration Co., Ltd. The firm will sell SAP Cloud ERP migration and maintenance services, particularly targeting SMBs that are unable to handle cloud migration on their own.
The decision is made as SAP prepares to withdraw its standard support for its on-premise ECC system in December 2027. A number of Japanese companies are now being pushed to migrate, but the high cost of implementation and dearth of SAP consultants make the move challenging – especially for smaller firms.
Soetek brings experience from more than 400 SAP integration projects across Taiwan, Shanghai and Vietnam, supported by a team of over 200 SAP consultants and engineers. The company is a SAP Platinum Partner and Taiwan’s sole member of the UNITED VARS alliance. It has also completed SAP Cloud ERP deployments for nine companies in Taiwan.

SNC plans to use this expertise to support Japanese businesses and their existing SAP partners. Its parent company has worked with Japanese firms expanding into Taiwan, giving it experience with complex ERP environments and the needs of Japanese businesses.
To strengthen local support, SNC plans to recruit Japanese consultants, sales staff and bilingual bridge engineers. It will also combine Taiwan-based engineering resources with partnerships involving domestic system integrators to keep costs manageable while maintaining service quality.
The company has already started projects with Japanese sales and implementation partners. Its entry adds another option for businesses seeking SAP migration support ahead of the 2027 deadline.
