AVITA Inc. just rolled out the AVITA AVATAR API. It lets other companies add AI avatar features to their own apps. They do not have to build the full underlying system on their own.
With this API, you get tools for speech to text. You also get voice output. There is AI chat for dialogue. It can handle face movements too. Motion control is included as well, along with other related parts for avatar experiences. AVITA is also providing an SDK to make integration easier.
One detail stands out for companies operating in Japan. Conversation text logs generated through the service can be stored at a domestic data center, helping address data management requirements around keeping information in Japan.

The technology is built for AI interviews, help desks, consultations, and role-play sessions. AVITA notes that what it learned from earlier avatar tools shaped the API. It says people want more useful AI digital chats, so the demand keeps rising.
