NeedsWell Co., Ltd. has launched a company-wide health management initiative, formally recognizing employee health as a key management priority. The company has introduced a Health Management Declaration and is working toward certification under Japan’s Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations system.
NeedsWell puts a lot of focus on work life balance. It also looks out for employee well-being. It wants to reduce long stretches of work.
By September 2028, NeedsWell is aiming for a few results. One target is that paid leave gets used by 70% or more of staff. Another target is a 10% drop in the count of people who still meet the rules for specific health guidance, compared with FY2025. It also wants monthly overtime to average less than 20 hours.
