AEG Presents has entered into a strategic partnership with Creativeman Productions, strengthening its presence in Japan’s live entertainment market. The partnership brings together AEG Presents’ global live entertainment expertise and Creativeman’s experience in concert promotion and events across Japan.
The two companies will work together to create more opportunities for artists to connect with Japanese audiences while continuing to improve the live experience for fans. The partnership also creates a potential platform for AXS, AEG Presents’ ticketing company, to expand its presence across the region.
Founded in 1990, Creativeman promotes concerts, tours and destination events featuring both international and Japanese artists. Led by CEO Naoki Shimizu, the company has really turned into quite a big name in the Asia live music arena, you know.

Summer Sonic, by itself, started way back in 2000. It also runs in parallel, in Tokyo and Osaka, and it’s pulled headliners such as Radiohead, Oasis, Metallica, and Linkin Park. Also the festival didn’t stay put, it has branched out beyond Japan, for example with Summer Sonic Bangkok.
