Firebird Opens Armenia AI Factory for Global Growth

Firebird has launched the region’s largest NVIDIA DSX AI factory in Armenia, marking the start of its broader AI infrastructure expansion across emerging markets. The company plans to scale the Armenian facility to more than 70,000 NVIDIA Rubin and Blackwell GPUs and 300 megawatts of capacity by the end of 2027. Firebird has also secured 125 megawatts in Kazakhstan and is targeting 2 gigawatts of AI infrastructure capacity across Armenia, Kazakhstan, and other frontier markets by the end of 2028. NVIDIA plans to invest in Firebird, following an earlier investment from CoreWeave. Perplexity is among the factory’s first customers, using its infrastructure for AI services.
