LightUp Expands Local LLM Support for Businesses

LightUp will launch its Local LLM Implementation Support Service on August 17, 2026, helping companies deploy open-weight AI models within their own controlled environments. The service supports models such as Moonshot AI’s Kimi K3 and covers model selection, infrastructure setup, business integration, and ongoing operations. The move addresses growing concerns around sending confidential company data to external AI services. It also targets a gap in the market, where local LLM deployments have largely focused on expensive, large-scale projects for major enterprises. LightUp aims to make deployment more accessible by tailoring infrastructure to each company’s budget and workload, while supporting use cases across finance, manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, and public-sector operations.
