common Inc. has launched Disclosure Check AI, a tool that uses AI to analyze disclosure documents for fraud signals and potential risks across Japanese securities reports, US annual reports, and cryptocurrency white papers.
The platform combines rule-based analysis with generative AI to flag concerns, explain the reasoning behind each finding, and point users directly to the relevant sections inside the original PDF.
The launch comes as rising retail participation, driven in part by initiatives such as Japan’s new NISA program, increases the volume of documents that investors and analysts need to review. With disclosure filings becoming longer and more complex, AI is increasingly being positioned as a first-pass analyst rather than a replacement for human judgment.

The final call still belongs to people. AI just gets them to the right page faster.
