Development Background
In recent years, cyberattacks targeting supply chains have become frequent. Consequently, companies and organizations face significant challenges, such as a lack of objective means to assess the security measures of their business partners, including suppliers and subcontractors, and the need to respond to varying requirements from each business partner.
In response to this situation, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry is considering an SCS evaluation system. On the other hand, many companies and organizations are expressing concerns such as, “We don’t know where to start,” “We don’t understand the difference between existing evaluation standards such as ISMS and the SCS evaluation system,” and “We don’t know how to supplement the measures that are lacking.”
To address these challenges, CEC is launching its “SCS Evaluation System Support Solution.” Leveraging its extensive experience in security-related services, the solution visualizes an organization’s security status, clarifies the issues that need to be addressed, and provides comprehensive support for the direction of measures and the entire implementation process toward obtaining SCS evaluation.
