Zeus Co., Ltd., which provides credit card payment services primarily to e-commerce shops, is pleased to announce the launch of “emochi PAY,” a payment service optimized for service providers such as schools, fitness centers, and home-visit services, starting today.
This service, by integrating with the service sales platform “emochi”, provides an environment where users can choose payment methods according to their operating model, such as prepayment, one-time payment, or recurring billing, regardless of whether they have a website or their sales format.
In recent years, in addition to our traditional e-commerce business selling physical goods, we have seen an increase in inquiries related to service-providing businesses, such as schools and classes, fitness centers, home-visit services, and businesses that collect monthly fees or membership charges.

These businesses share common needs such as “we don’t need to build a full-fledged e-commerce site,” “we want to minimize the effort involved in billing and collection,” “we want to streamline payments without changing our existing operating environment,” and “we want to process payments at the time of pre-order acceptance.” On the other hand, many conventional e-commerce payment services are designed primarily for physical goods sales, and are not always optimal for the unique operational needs of service-providing businesses.
Against this backdrop, as a payment service provider, we believe it is necessary to provide payment functions suitable for service-oriented businesses that are easy to use on their own and easy to integrate into the overall business flow, from a position closest to the practical work of our merchants. This led us to develop and launch “emochi PAY,” a payment service for service providers.
