Yayoi Co., Ltd. will begin offering a new service utilizing generation AI, “Yayoi’s Anytime Labor Consultation AI,” from April 23, 2026.
This service is an OEM provision of “HRbase,” an AI service specializing in labor consultations developed and provided by HRbase Co., Ltd. It is a labor assistant AI that provides answers to questions regarding legal revisions and daily HR and labor matters, based on reliable information supervised by experts, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Background of the provision
In many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), there is no dedicated person in charge of human resources and labor relations. As a result, business owners or general affairs/accounting staff often handle labor-related matters in addition to their main duties.

A survey conducted by Yayoi* revealed that approximately 85% of the companies had fewer than 50 employees, and furthermore, 61.9% did not have a designated person in charge of human resources or labor relations.
On the other hand, there is a high demand for “immediate confirmation of accurate information, even if it’s not serious enough to warrant consulting a labor and social security attorney.” In fact, 83.1% of respondents said they first rely on internet searches when labor-related questions arise. However, 63.2% responded that they “feel uneasy about the accuracy of the information” found in those search results, highlighting the significant challenge of balancing convenience and reliability.
Against this backdrop, Yayoi will leverage the knowledge and technology of HRbase, which has been developing AI solutions specializing in the labor field, to provide “Yayoi’s Anytime Labor Consultation AI” that will address the labor-related concerns and questions of small and medium-sized enterprises at any time.
Yayoi aims to illuminate the path for small and medium-sized enterprises by leveraging the diverse data it has accumulated and combining it with technologies such as AI, providing value that looks a step ahead. We will continue to support small businesses in Japan and contribute to improving the vitality of the Japanese economy as a whole.
