TIS Inc., a member of the TIS Intec Group, announced that it will begin offering the “AI-enabled Data Protection Management Service” from April 21, 2026. This service addresses the challenges of internal information security management for companies facing increased information leakage risks due to the widespread adoption of generational AI. The service defines the scope of information asset protection and provides one-stop support from risk analysis to operational implementation.
The “AI-enabled Data Protection Management Service” optimizes three major data management tools—Microsoft Purview, Varonis, and Sumizumi-kun—to suit the industry and scale of the company, making the location, access rights, and usage status of confidential company information visible and strengthening the protection system against unauthorized access and data leakage risks.
In recent years, with the rapid spread of generative AI, the data domains handled by companies have expanded rapidly from on-premises to the cloud and AI environments. Information security management within companies is becoming increasingly complex, and traditional security measures such as communication control and USB usage restrictions are increasingly insufficient to prevent information leaks due to internal fraud or user errors. In particular, the unintentional leakage of confidential data when using AI has become a major management concern.

Furthermore, the burden of tuning due to over-detection and false positives, as well as the risk of information leakage due to reliance on individual employees for operational procedures, such as forgetting to apply appropriate labels according to confidentiality, are also increasing.
To meet these market needs, TIS has launched its “AI-enabled Data Protection Management Service,” leveraging its extensive experience in providing services from consulting to operation across a wide range of industries, including finance, industry, and the public sector, to support information security management in the AI era.
