DG Daiwa Ventures is pleased to announce that it has invested in Project Pluto Inc, the provider of the AI Financial Agent “Terminal X,” in a Series A round.
An investment-focused AI agent that understands a company’s internal data.
Terminal X provides an AI agent that indexes public and private data, including institutional investors’ internal data, on a large scale, enabling precise searching and inference down to the cell and numerical level.
This agent is more than just a search tool; it aligns with the thought processes of actual analysts and portfolio managers, performing research and analysis. It integrates the entire investment process—including investment memo creation, similar company analysis, transaction analysis, portfolio monitoring, and investment committee preparation—into a seamless AI workflow.

Focusing on “Unstructured Data” among institutional investors
Institutional investors such as asset management companies, private equity firms, and investment banks possess vast amounts of data, including real-time market data, broker research, internal documents, models, emails, and message histories. However, much of this data exists in an unstructured and distributed form, making it difficult for AI to utilize immediately. Project Pluto identifies the essence of this challenge as “investment data exists, but it is not optimized for LLMs,” and is redesigning the data infrastructure from the ground up to enable AI to be used in actual investment operations.
Enterprise traction is being rapidly tested.
Project Pluto has seen rapid growth since its service launch in early 2025, with enterprise customer usage increasing approximately 40-fold in just eight months. To date, it has processed over one million enterprise queries, and key customers are running a significant portion of their core investment time on Terminal X.
Furthermore, the conversion rate from paid PoC to contract is high, and the company is recording a high growth rate in terms of ARR. These results demonstrate product-driven scalability, as they are spreading primarily through referrals via customer-to-customer communication (WOM) rather than relying on external marketing.
Competitiveness based on a financial-focused data infrastructure
Project Pluto is built on a data infrastructure specifically designed for the financial industry, and features a structure that allows for the simultaneous processing of both public and private corporate data. It can comprehensively analyze large-scale unstructured documents, traditional Excel spreadsheets and time-series data, and real-time market data, and its multi-model, multi-agent configuration provides AI agents optimized for each investment task.
This establishes its position as a vertical AI specifically tailored to the financial sector, setting it apart from general-purpose AI tools and simple data provision services.
