NTT DATA has launched its new GCC Innovation Acceleration Program which helps international organizations establish and develop their offshore innovation centers in India. The initiative, which began in October 2025, aims to assist over 50 businesses during the upcoming three years. The concept operates through its basic framework. Many global firms are building Global Capability Centers to access skilled tech talent and drive innovation outside their home markets. India has become the obvious destination because of its large talent pool and technical depth.
The company’s push comes at a time when India’s GCC ecosystem is expanding fast. The sector currently generates around $65 billion and is projected to reach about $110 billion by 2030. The number of centers could cross 2,500 with a workforce of nearly 4.5 million professionals.
Through the program, NTT DATA plans to help companies across the entire lifecycle of a GCC. That includes planning, governance setup, talent development and process optimization. It will also bring advanced technologies into the mix such as agentic AI, generative AI, digital twins, high performance computing and robotics.

The broader goal is to push GCCs beyond support roles and turn them into real innovation engines. Many centers still have limited AI adoption today. NTT DATA is positioning this program as a way to change that and help enterprises move faster from experimentation to actual business impact.
