LINE NEXT and JPYC Corporation have confirmed that the Japanese yen stablecoin JPYC will be supported in Unifi, a Web3 wallet set to launch within the LINE app. The move brings stablecoin functionality directly into one of Japan’s largest digital platforms.
Unifi provides users with a non-custodial wallet solution that operates through their LINE accounts. Users will not need to install a separate app or navigate complex wallet setups. The user maintains complete control over the funds, managing their own, without a need to trust any other party for custody.
By integrating JPYC, which is pegged to the Japanese yen, the companies aim to offer a stable value option for payments and rewards inside the LINE ecosystem. The focus is practical usage. Open a wallet inside LINE. Send or receive value. Manage assets independently. No additional steps outside the app.

With more than 100 million users in Japan, LINE provides scale. The combination of a familiar interface, self-managed wallet structure, and yen linked stablecoin positions Unifi as an attempt to make Web3 transactions feel routine rather than technical. Launch timing details will be shared separately.
