AOKI Holdings and Hitachi Solutions have entered a long term partnership centered on a digital transformation strategy platform. The focus is clear. Rebuild the IT backbone. Tighten security and governance. Make room for agent based AI and deeper data analysis. Then use that to reshape how customers experience the AOKI group across fashion, entertainment, anniversaire, and bridal.
The timing is not random. Japan is dealing with a declining birthrate, an aging population, and consumers whose behavior keeps shifting. AOKI has already deployed Hitachi Solutions’ Point Infinity for group wide points management and has been strengthening infrastructure and data platforms. The group introduced Google Workspace to transform its system design through generative AI technology and next-generation IT solutions in 2025.
The upcoming phase of the project will start in 2026. Hitachi Solutions will create a security system and scalable infrastructure which connects data from all parts of the organization. Structured and unstructured data, from email and video to ecommerce and in store systems, will sit in one environment. Layer generative AI on top of that and the goal is simple. Predict lifestyle changes. Deliver personalized services at the right moment.
