Heated tobacco devices have become predictable. Same structure. Same pitch. Minor upgrades packaged as big innovation.
REJO is trying to shift that narrative with the launch of REJO CUBE in Japan. The device is modular. It separates into a heating pod and a removable battery that connect magnetically. The pod carries a 1,250mAh battery and operates as an independent unit. The detachable unit adds 1,000mAh which increases total capacity to 2,250mAh and enables the device to operate for 20 sessions between charges.
The hook includes customization as its essential element. Three color options across two modules allow multiple visual combinations. It is a clear move toward personalization in a category that rarely experiments with form.

On performance, CUBE uses OmniHeat 360-degree technology to heat sticks evenly from the outside. The goal is stable aerosol output and consistent flavor. Users can choose between a standard mode with up to 16 puffs and an Eco mode that activates the “Puff Twice” feature, enabling a controlled second heating cycle on compatible sticks.
Priced at 6,980 yen, the device signals a broader shift in HNB. The battle is no longer just about heating. It is about control, design, and extracting more value per stick.
