Illumio, an industry leader in security breach containment, announced that it has expanded its partnership with Armis , a provider of cyber exposure management and security solutions, to collaborate on sharing deep insights into risks and expanding into new markets to better protect enterprises’ integrated IT and OT environments. The two companies will jointly develop solutions that combine Illumio’s platform, featuring Illumio Insights and Illumio Segmentation , with Armis’ cyber exposure management platform, Armis Centrix ™.
The solution combines Illumio’s breach containment capabilities with Armis’ cyber exposure management and security capabilities to help organizations detect threats early, automatically contain breaches, and strengthen the resilience of vulnerable systems. Illumio Insights advances the solution’s native capabilities, going beyond segmentation to simplify operations and proactive containment. It enables organizations to implement zero trust across their IT, OT, and IoT environments, mitigate breach damage through rapid containment, and achieve compliance with standards such as NERC CIP, IEC 62443, and NIST 800-82.
The main features of this solution are as follows:
Complete Asset Visibility : Armis discovers and classifies all IT, OT, and IoT devices, including unmanaged and legacy assets, and shares that information with the Illumio platform to aid in threat visibility and mapping.
Prioritize Risk : Share Armis intelligence with Illumio Insights to discover where segmentation needs most action.
Dynamic Containment : When Armis detects an anomaly, it applies Illumio microsegmentation to prevent lateral movement.
SOC Ingestion : Integrated telemetry is ingested into SOC workflows, SIEM, and SOAR to expedite investigations.

“Protecting your entire attack surface starts with understanding which parts of your systems are connected to the internet and third-party networks and where your risks lie,” said Nadir Izrael, CTO and co-founder of Armis. “This expanded partnership brings together advanced threat visibility, asset intelligence, and policy enforcement. Together, Armis and Illumio are focused on helping organizations act more decisively, stop attacks before they cause damage, and maintain high levels of resilience in their core operations.”
This expanded partnership will see the two companies collaborate not only on technical aspects but also on market development activities such as sales and marketing. By providing seamless service integration, expert guidance, and solutions that protect critical infrastructure, companies will be able to more easily acquire and deploy advanced zero trust security solutions. This will enable companies to adopt a unified approach based on zero trust security for their integrated IT and OT environments.
