Space Data Corporation will begin considering collaboration with CYPHIC Corporation, Japan’s only electronic warfare startup, regarding the development and implementation of information technology solutions in the advanced security and resilience fields, including electronic warfare.
In the modern security environment, a paradigm shift is occurring toward “non-kinetic warfare,” which does not involve physical destruction. In particular, the threat of electronic warfare, such as “spoofing” and jamming, which involves spoofing Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals to mislead people into thinking they are at a certain location, is having a very serious impact on drones, aircraft operations, ship operations, GNSS-guided artillery, and social infrastructure.
Space Data possesses an integrated technology platform including “PROVIDENCE,” which utilizes satellite data and 3D technology to enable learning in virtual space. Meanwhile, CYPHIC, Japan’s only electronic warfare startup, possesses cutting-edge technologies such as GNSS spoofing detection and radio source location estimation, and also handles digital mission engineering in virtual scenarios.

CYPHIC‘s GNSS spoofing detection, electromagnetic threat analysis and electronic warfare technologies have a high affinity with Space Data’s digital twin technology, leading to the two companies beginning to consider a strategic collaboration.
Through this partnership, Space Data will utilize the highly accurate digital twin space provided by the two companies to dramatically increase the number of simulation attempts for complex jamming patterns that are difficult to perform in the real world. This will enable the companies to anticipate electronic warfare scenarios and realize innovative security solutions through simulations of those scenarios.
