Open Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Open Group Co., Ltd., is pleased to announce that Toyama Prefectural Welfare Agricultural Cooperative Association Takaoka Hospital has introduced the RPA tool “BizRobo! Lite” in July 2025, and has begun efforts to promote medical digital transformation and work style reform for hospital staff.
This will be the first time that BizRobo! is introduced at any of the Health and Welfare Federation hospitals across the country.
Koseiren Takaoka Hospital is the largest hospital in the western part of Toyama Prefecture, providing tertiary emergency medical care for the area’s population of approximately 450,000. Providing such advanced medical care requires the stable and continuous recruitment of excellent personnel, but in a prefecture where the population is declining and aging, securing personnel has become a major issue not only in the medical field but in all industries, with more than 70% of companies and organizations continuing to experience labor shortages*.
In addition, due to the declining population, the population in the medical area of Kosei Ren Takaoka Hospital is also steadily decreasing, and this, along with rising prices and labor costs, is creating challenges in terms of securing profits.

To overcome these regional factors and become a hospital chosen by both medical professionals and patients, Koseiren Takaoka Hospital began work improvement activities centered on promoting medical digital transformation. As part of these efforts, they considered introducing RPA, which does not require special IT skills and can automate routine work in a short period of time.
During the review process, we compared multiple products while taking into consideration the situations of other hospitals, and decided to adopt the BizRobo! series, as it has a strong track record of implementation and support in medical institutions and has an excellent support system for robot development and operation compared to other companies. As for the license, we chose the server-based “BizRobo! Lite,” which can be used from a small start to use throughout the hospital.
