Minna Bank announced that the fully cloud-based banking system developed and operated by Zerobank Design Factory (ZDF), a subsidiary of Fukuoka Financial Group, in collaboration with Accenture and running on Google Cloud, has been selected as the core banking system for MUFG Bank’s new online bank.
In 2022, ZDF announced plans to offer the system to both domestic and international financial institutions, as well as non-financial institutions looking to launch banking services. This is the first time ZDF has provided the system to an external organization.
In the future, ZDF aims to address the challenges faced by companies entering the banking sector and other industries by providing this system, thereby contributing to the growth and innovation of both the domestic and international digital banking market.
