TOKIUM Corporation has announced the launch of “Accounting AI Agent,” which works with AI and professional staff to support the automated operation of accounting work. The decline in the working-age population due to the low birth rate and aging population has become a serious social issue, and a labor shortage of 6.44 million people is predicted by 2030. Through the “Accounting AI Agent,” we aim to free all business people from routine accounting work such as business trip arrangements, advance applications, and reconciliation, and contribute to improving the productivity of Japan as a whole. Through this, we aim to replace approximately 20 million hours of accounting work by 2030. As the first step, we plan to start offering the business trip arrangement agent in July.
TOKIUM’s newly announced “Accounting AI Agent” works in cooperation with AI and professional staff to autonomously perform accounting tasks on behalf of customers.
AI handles many of the repetitive accounting tasks, while professional staff are responsible for improving the quality of the AI itself and supporting its introduction and establishment in companies.

TOKIUM has spent over 10 years building an operations platform on which more than 8,000 online operators work. The vast amount of practical data processing know-how accumulated through this platform enables the provision of highly practical AI agents from the early stages.
By providing the accounting AI agent, we will realize the automation of accounting tasks and contribute to improving the productivity of society as a whole by providing digital labor to small and medium-sized enterprises, especially those at high risk of facing labor shortages due to difficulties in recruitment and aging.
