Asada Clinic, IBM Japan Develop AI Chatbot for Infertility

Asada Ladies Clinic and IBM Japan announced that they had jointly developed a chatbot called "Chatbot Asada Sensei" that uses generative AI to answer questions about infertility treatment. It was released online on the same day. This chatbot allows individuals and their families to easily ask about their concerns about infertility treatment. The chatbot uses search augmentation and generation (RAG) architecture. Specifically, the generative AI answers users' questions based on information about infertility treatment written or supervised by the hospital's chairman. This allows reliable answers to be provided not only to general questions about infertility treatment, but also to questions about the hospital's unique treatment methods.
