Zscaler has appointed Sanjay Yadave as Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ), expanding his regional leadership responsibilities at the cybersecurity company.
Yadave has been part of Zscaler’s Greater Asia leadership, where he has overseen go-to-market activities, customer engagement and regional operations. He previously served as Vice President and Managing Director for Greater Asia. Public event materials now identify him as Zscaler’s Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific & Japan.
The expanded role comes as organizations across APJ continue to address cybersecurity requirements associated with cloud adoption, distributed work environments and the growing use of artificial intelligence.
Zscaler has been expanding its focus beyond traditional network security toward Zero Trust, cloud security and AI-related cybersecurity capabilities. The company has also been working with organizations across the region as enterprises modernize their infrastructure and move applications and workloads across increasingly distributed environments.

Yadave brings more than two decades of experience in technology and business leadership. Before joining Zscaler, he held senior roles at VMware, including leadership responsibility for cloud sales across Asia Pacific and Japan. Earlier in his career, he also worked in technology and telecommunications-related roles.
His new APJ remit covers a region where cybersecurity strategies are increasingly influenced by cloud transformation, regulatory requirements and AI adoption. Zscaler’s regional leadership structure includes dedicated executives across technology, customer success, partnerships and country operations.
Yadave’s appointment places regional go-to-market and customer engagement activities under an expanded leadership role as Zscaler continues to develop its presence across Asia Pacific and Japan.
