First Recon AI has launched AI Security Runtime, an enterprise platform built to monitor and govern how employees, AI assistants, and autonomous agents interact with AI systems. Distributed in Japan through Persefoni Japan, the platform focuses on a growing problem many firms are already facing, including shadow AI, data leakage, compliance risk, and rising AI spend.

Unlike the more traditional cybersecurity tools that are meant to guard networks and files, AI Security Runtime kind of works at the interaction layer instead. It scrutinizes prompts and replies in real time, then applies policies before anything actually reaches the AI models, and also generates audit records so compliance requirements are covered. The launch also signals a broader change in how enterprises think about security, because companies are moving from just doing AI experiments toward full organization-wide deployment.
